Very well organized. Dash and Shelley think of everything and are very helpful, providing information and suggestions for those of us who don’t get outside regularly on such adventures. The local guides are extraordinary, true gems, and made it a wonderful experience. I appreciate Dash adventures connecting with Monica and team and they took great care to make this a special adventure.

I had a great time. Did not achieve all of my personal objectives as hoped, but realized unexpected positive experiences as a result. DASH is very detail-oriented. Even when the unforeseen occurs, they always find a way to make things turn out for the best. Dave and Shelly participate in everything, personally. The support staff they hire and rely upon are the very best. They are completely invested, personally, and treated DASH clients like we were part of their family. Makes a big difference when you're on a multi-day trip to a distant place. Clients and all staff are "one family", and shared experiences make-the-day! Perfect!

Visting Machu Picchu has been on my bucket list since the 1970s. I (and my family) had a fabulous time exploring Peru with a small group that blended very well together. We hiked, ate, laughed and enjoyed each other's company while immersing ourselves in another culture. The blend of DASH Adventures and Crawdaddy Outdoors brought people together that share a love of international travel and exploration, combined with hiking and altitude acclimation needed in this particular region of the world. Local Peruvian guides gave us the historical, anthropological and cultural background and awareness that is essential to experiencing another country. Our progression in altitude was carefully layered that by the time we were at 16,000 feet, we felt confident and comfortable.

Dash Adventures had everything lined up, down to recommendations for the best restaurants. Thier communication before and during the trip was excellent and we felt well supported the duration. I really appreciate the personal touch they have on this trip. I will definitely be doing another Dash trip!

Our trek through the Peruvian highlands was exhilarating. I loved the chance explore ruins and learn about the Tawantinsuyu (Incan) culture. The itinerary was thoughtfully organized to acclimatize the group to the high altitudes. There were some hard days but I was proud to have powered through for the spectacular vistas like Palccyo (Colored Mountain). Knowledgeable guides. Comfortable hotels. Some of the best food I've ever had - truly delicious. Spanish was not required but fun to practice. I strongly recommend this trip.
